Agri-food testing laboratory in Nepal
Nepal's coffee, tea, honey, and spice exporters face the same problem the cannabis sector will: no accredited domestic lab for pesticide residue, aflatoxin, or heavy metal testing. We are building one laboratory that serves both — a real customer base today, independent of any cannabis licence.
A gap that isn't about cannabis
Coffee, tea, honey, and spice exporters routinely need pesticide residue, aflatoxin, and heavy metal certificates to clear destination markets — and today, that testing has to go abroad, adding cost and delay to every shipment. Nepal has no accredited domestic lab for it.
We are building a general agri-food testing laboratory to close that gap — the same facility that will eventually run mandatory THC/CBD compliance testing for licensed cannabis runs pesticide, aflatoxin, and heavy-metal panels for the export crops Nepal already grows and sells.
Who this serves
Coffee, tea, honey, and spice exporters needing certificates accepted in destination markets; cooperatives and processors managing quality control; and, once cannabis licensing is operative, licensed growers and processors needing THC/CBD compliance testing under the same roof.
Planned. Accreditation for food-safety testing runs independently of cannabis licensing, and the lab is designed to serve Nepal's existing agro-export sector from day one.
