Winterizing is a cold-filtration step that removes the natural waxes present in pressed hemp seed oil, so the finished oil stays visually clear even when refrigerated or shipped through cold climates — essential for facial serums, softgel capsules, and any transparent packaging where cloudiness reads as a defect.
