A clean-up step before distillation
Winterizing filters natural plant waxes and lipids out of crude cannabinoid extract, improving purity and stability without the full processing distillation requires — a step some processors specifically want as an intermediate purchase point between crude and finished distillate.
Pending licensing under Nepal's medical and industrial cannabis framework. Not currently available for supply.

Common questions
- Is winterized crude the same as distillate?
- No — distillation is a further refinement step beyond winterizing. Winterized crude has waxes removed but hasn't been through distillation. See our CBD distillate page for the further-refined product.
- Why buy winterized crude instead of raw crude?
- It's a cleaner, more stable intermediate for processors who want to skip running their own winterizing step but still handle final distillation or formulation themselves.
